Weddings in Slovenia

Lakes, the Julian Alps and the Venetian towns of the coast. We have photographed and filmed weddings at Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, in Kranj and in Koper.

From the lakes to the sea

Slovenia packs mountains, lakes and the Adriatic into a few hours of driving, and the weddings we have done there show it. One couple said their vows aboard a boat on Lake Bohinj, another danced under the lights of Bled Castle, and in Koper the bridesmaids waved from the balcony of a Venetian palace.

It is also a short drive from Bihać, so a wedding in Slovenia costs you far less in travel than most couples expect. We come as a photographer and a videographer, stay up to 14 hours, and bring a drone for the lakes and the mountains.

Where we have worked

  • Lake Bled

Vows on the shore, a first look by the water and a dance under the lights of Bled Castle, between crowds of tourists and a race against the light.

  • Lake Bohinj

A ceremony aboard a boat on the lake, a group photo from the air and portraits on the meadows below the Julian Alps.

  • Kranj

An autumn wedding in the colourful old town, with golden alleys, a red maple and the kolo at night.

  • Koper

A garden ceremony above the sea, a string trio and portraits in the Venetian streets of the old town.

Our weddings in Slovenia

Questions couples ask

Do you travel to Slovenia for weddings?

Yes, regularly. Bled, Bohinj and Kranj are a few hours from our studio, and the coast is not much further. Travel up to 100 km from Bihać is free. For longer distances we add travel costs per kilometre, and they are shown in your offer before you book.

What do you bring to a wedding in Slovenia?

A photographer and a videographer for up to 14 hours, a couple session at a location you choose, drone photos and footage, a wedding trailer and film, a reel for social media and online delivery of everything.

Can you find quiet spots at Lake Bled?

Bled is busy in summer, so we plan the couple session around the light and the crowds: early in the day or in the evening, and in places a little away from the main promenade.

Which languages do you speak?

Bosnian and English. Most of the couples we work with in Slovenia are from our region or have family here, so the whole day runs in the language you speak at home.
