Selma & Mersim

Selma and Mersim got married in November, and autumn gave them the most beautiful backdrop we could have wished for: alleys of golden trees, a maple in flaming red and fallen leaves under every step.

Selma’s off-the-shoulder satin gown and simple headband were pure elegance, and Mersim, in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, matched her perfectly. Between the old town of Kranj, with its colourful walls and arched wooden doors, a fountain in the park and a long white stone staircase, every corner had its own frame.

At the venue a sign said it all: “Dobrodošli, ovdje počinje ljubav”, welcome, this is where love begins. The night was full of music, and women in traditional dimije led the kolo, a moment that tied the couple’s new life to the traditions they come from.

Selma and Mersim, thank you for a warm autumn day and a celebration we will remember for a long time.
