Jessica and Anthony’s story began in Germany, where Anthony, an American Marine stationed at a local base, met Jessica. His persistence and charm, and their undeniable connection, led to a love that crossed borders.
They discovered our work on Instagram and invited us to capture their wedding on 22 February 2025 at Schlossberg Castle in Sonneberg, Germany.
The adventure started before we even arrived: our road trip from Bosnia included several police stops. When we finally met Jessica and Anthony, it felt like we had known them for years, and their relaxed energy set the tone for the whole day.
The morning brought one more twist. A local woodworker was not happy with our drone over his property and threatened to call the police. Meanwhile, Jessica and her bridesmaids filled the room with music and laughter, and their energy was contagious.
For the first time, we filmed a bride getting ready in a castle tower. Its spiral shape had no straight lines or symmetry, which pushed us to find new angles, and the results were more magical than we imagined.
It was also our first wedding with a tattoo artist. Guests could get small tattoos to remember the day, a modern twist on tradition that we loved capturing.
